The 2009 Pickens County Meals on Wheels Chili Cook-Off, sponsored by Gwinn's Tire and Alignment, Sealevel, Sulzer Pump, King's Asphalt, Foothills Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Bon Secours St. Francis Health, Kris Mechanical and Pumpkintown Community Club was held on April 18, 2009 at the Azalea Festival. Winners were Best Chili - Habanero Hot Heads, People's Choice - EDSI, Best Booth and Team Spirit - Habanero Hot Heads and Top Team Fundraiser - Air-Care Home Health who raised $625.79 for PCMOW! Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to everyone that participated!
