Pickens County Meals on Wheels

Volunteers are the lifeblood of everything we do at Meals on Wheels.  Without our volunteers we could not fulfill our mission, and we are thankful for their tireless commitment.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the Time; Volunteers have the Heart. – Elizabeth Andrew

Opportunities to Serve

Meal Delivery Drivers

Substitute Drivers

Substitute for regular drivers when needed. We are always in need of substitute drivers. You can substitute for a specific day, route, or fill-in when needed.

Meal Preparation and Packaging

Center Activities

Provide assistance by answering phones, filing, making phone calls, and delivering messages. This can be very flexible depending on your time available.

Special Events

We hold several fundraisers throughout the year and need help with the organization and follow through. Individuals, companies, and organizations can help with these events. Please call us to see which one you or your company would be interested in!

Corporate and Civic Volunteer Programs

Your company or civic group can volunteer! We offer opportunities for businesses and groups to get involved either through driving teams or special events.

Photography and Scrapbooking

We need someone to take pictures of volunteers, recipients and special events.
